SP-BSP encircles UP government regarding migrant workers

Lucknow:  Uttar Pradesh's main opposition Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) have surrounded the state government in their own way on the issue of migrant workers.

SP National President and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday tweeted, "In Uttar Pradesh today, unemployment has become a terrible problem in the form of suicides. The BJP became busy in unemployment and starvation by defying the truth of Corona What will the solution do when it is not accepting the problem. " He said, "A few days after the Bihar elections, the 'star campaigners' of the state will also fly."

Meanwhile, BSP chief Mayawati said that due to the Corona epidemic and the lockdown, the cases have been filed against the workers of migrant laborers who are not able to follow the rules literally while returning home thousands of kilometers away. The Supreme Court order to take is correct, timely and commendable.

He said that the instructions of the court regarding the provision of employment to the migrant workers who returned back home by assessing their qualifications in their home state are also welcome. Mayawati said that now the governments should start taking serious and sensitive action in this regard without any delay, this is the demand of the BSP.
