Mahant of Hanumat Kunj Ashram located at Hathi Mound in Vrindavan, Mathura has been kidnapped with the intention of grabbing his property. In this regard, Mahant's guru sister has also complained to the SSP against two named and four unknown people, but the police have neither written a case in it nor have information about Mahant. In this regard, the social worker has sent a letter to the Prime Minister demanding a CBI inquiry.

Social worker Mahant Madhumangalsharandas Shukla has written a letter to the Prime Minister. He said that the case of abducting the property of the Mahant of Hanumat Kunj Ashram on Hathi Tila with the intention of grabbing the property related to the ashram is of crores of rupees. In the entire Brij Chaurasi Kos Mathura district, including Braj Vrindavan, many such cases have been done in the past by the land mafia that they have been kidnapped, murdered, and killed in the greed of the saint-mahants and the religious properties associated with them. In this new case, it is necessary to have a CBI inquiry into the kidnapping of Mahant Siyaram Das Baba of Hathi Tila Hanumat Kunj in Ramnreti.

According to Mahant's guru sister Shanti Dasi, Siyaram Das Baba was with him and his disciples on 1 December 2021. Then seven people including a woman came and took Baba on the pretext of treatment. He feared that the accused had killed Baba and made the dead body disappear for the purpose of destroying the evidence.
