Additional Chief Secretary (Home and Information) Avnish Kumar Awasthi said on Tuesday, "Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of workers in the country. We have been able to bring our workers and laborers from the southern states as well. "
Awasthi said," So far more than 22.17 lakh people have been brought from 1642 trains in the state. So far, 3, 56, 650 workers and laborers have come from 278 trains in Gorakhpur. ”
He said that 7, 98, 089 people have come from 548 trains from Gujarat in the state. 428 trains from Maharashtra, 235 trains from Punjab and 103 trains from Delhi have arrived in the state with workers and workers.

Awasthi informed that the Uttar Pradesh government is making arrangements to send brick kiln workers of the states of Orissa, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh etc. to their state.
