In view of the nationwide lockdown enforced to fight the coronavirus outbreak, Delhi Metro offerings will continue to be closed until April 14, a senior legitimate of the DMRC stated on Wednesday.
On March 22, the DMRC had introduced closure of its offerings until the cease of this month.
"As there is a nationwide lockdown for 21 days, the offerings will stay closed until April 14," the reliable said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a televised tackle had introduced that from Wednesday onwards there will be a complete lockdown in the united states of america for 21 days and instructed human beings to continue to be at domestic in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The DMRC in a tweet on Wednesday said, "We have obtained a few queries related to the tenure of the closure of the Metro services. It is hereby knowledgeable that, in mild of the lockdown issued by using the government, Metro offerings will stay closed until 14 April 2020."
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC, in a announcement on Sunday, had said, "As per the present day decision, in order to combat the coronavirus outbreak, it has been determined that metro offerings will continue to be totally closed until March 31."
At least 35 cases, which include a death, have been pronounced in the country wide capital till Wednesday night.
