The Lucid Air Dream Edition range has given a range of 520 miles (836.8 km) on a single charge.
With this, the company also noted that the Air Dream Edition range has also managed to offer a longer range of 160.9 km (100 mi) than its nearest rival - the Tesla Model S Long Range. Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO of Lucid Group, said, “I am delighted that our Lucid Air Dream Edition range has been officially recognized by the EPA with a range of 520 miles, a number I would recommend for any EV. A new record for me."
Battery, power and range
The Lucid Air electric car is available with an in-house developed 113 kWh battery pack. Its Grand Touring variant packs 789 bhp of power on tap and a driving range of up to 830 km/charge, while the Lucid Air Dream Edition Performance variant packs 1,096 bhp of power and a range of 758 km/charge. However, the Dream Edition range variant offers 920 bhp of power and an estimated range of 836.8 km/charge.
